Vonage America makes E911 available to its VoIP users
Vonage America has stated that more than 93% of its subscribers are now able access E911 services. Customers do not need to waste time telling their physical address, if they are calling from an address they have submitted beforehand for a given number, the E911 handlers can access it automatically. Vonage has equipped more than 6,400 local call centers with E911 capabilities and now through its nomadic E911 implementation Vonage can route E911 calls to a dedicated 911 center.
