Virgin Mobile UK Drops Price On Lobster Smartphone
MS Mobiles has a picture of an unusual-looking smartphone known as the Lobster 700. The Lobster, which is capable of receiving mobile TV, is offered by Virgin Mobile UK as part of a pay-as-you-go package, whose price has been reduced from 199 GBP to 109 GBP. Purchasing the phone online gets you 50 GBP worth of airtime as well.
Australian Agency Will Move To VoIP
ZDNet reports that another Australian government agency, the Productivity Commission, plans to move to VoIP to replace their existing TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) system. The change would occur at their exisitng Melbourne location, with a new Canberra office to follow suit.
