Another VoIP company is going public. This time, instead of hardware, it’s a softswitch maker, Veraz Networks Inc. Veraz will trade on the NASDAQ once their IPO is out. [via New Telephony]

Skype Pocket PC 2.1
Jim Courtney gives some details about the new 2.1 version of Skype for Pocket PC and it has me salivating, wondering when my darn Palm Treo 650 will have true Skype support.

The Attack of The Clamshell VoIP Phones
They’re here and they’ll keep on coming: Wi-Fi VoIP phones in the familiar clamshell flip-open style of loads of mobile phones. And 3Com is the latest supplier, with their 3Com 3108 Wireless Phone. Though it’s a bit pricey at  US$415. [via: Register Hardware]
