TV Messenger: Caller ID For TV

Are you lazy? Like, really really lazy? Then the TV Messenger might be the device for you. Basically you hook your telephone into the jack and plug the TV Messenger into your TV.

Now when someone calls you can see who it is on the screen. It costs $110 and is available now from SmartHome. I’d just like to point out at this juncture that you can get similar functionality by actually lifting the cordless handset and looking at it’s (smaller) screen.

In all seriousness though, I think that the TV Messenger is a bit of a one-trick-pony. If it was some sort of dock that could display who is calling any of your telephones then it would be cool. But it isn’t.
