Traffic Manager PRX-250

The Traffic Manager PRX-250, a device to classify network traffic using various application layer signatures, from ipoque features 3 Gigabit interfaces with a throughout of 250MBit/s, a packet rate up to 60,000 packets/s and a packet latency below 1 millisecond. The Traffic Manager PRX-250 operates as a transparent bridge that can be easily integrated into an existing network and administered through a convenient web-based interface.

The new PRX-250 can now also detect and monitor Skype activity, a major new feature intended to help in the fight against new problems introduced by Skype in a corporate environment. The addition of a PRX-250 Traffic Manager gives system admins a new option to help them manage their networks effectively.
