T-Mobile Offers Seemless Cellular to VoIP Service

Once again VoIP is making its presence felt in the mobile network world. So how would you like to own a mobile phone which allows you to seamlessly switch from a mobile network to cheaper VoIP connection calls and back again without as much as a crackle in reception.

With the Wi-fi enabled Samsung t409 and Nokia 6086 roped in to work with the T-mobile cellular network and Wi-fi HotSpot, this is now a possibility. These phones come at a price of $49.99 with two years contracts. Furthermore, T-Mobile has also strike a deal with D-link and Linksys for the HotSpot @Home routers which will be offered free with mail-in rebates.

As for the line subscription, plans start at merely $9.90 a month for a single HotSpot @Home line to $19.90 for if you need to use up to 5 handsets. At such a great price, you can surely take advantage of this service and there are even 8,500 public HotSpots managed by T-Mobile in the U.S.

There’s a similar way where you don’t even have to get a new phone. You just buy a unit which routes calls to your regular mobile (and any subsequent ones you may own in the future)…. it’s called IP VoiceLink. Really sensible.
