Sylantro VoIP Features For SOHOs + Virtual Offices

Sylantro Systems is aiming a suite of new VoIP features at SOHOs (Small Office, Home Office) owners, particularly residential teleworkers. The offerings would give business phone functions over IP, including allowing you to use your cell phone as a business extension. Providers like SunRocket are planning to use Sylantro’s Synergy Application Feature Server software in their service offerings. [via eWeek]

Theoretically, features like this could revolutionize small businesses by allowing them to have virtual offices anywhere in the world. So not only would SOHO owners and teleworkers benefit, but so could anyone who is on the road a lot, and who has to deal with managing more than one mailbox, voice or otherwise.
