SpectraLink WiFi Netlink phones for enterprise

SpectraLink NetLink 8000 SeriesSpectraLink, a company based out of Boulder, Colorado, have announced the release of a new suite of WiFi phones designed for use on converged data and voice networks in an enterprise setting. The new phones are called the NetLink 8000 Series and will make use of 802.11a/b/g networks (no draft 802.11n support mentioned).

Two phones will make up the , the NetLink 8020 and NetLink 8030 have 24 push-to-talk channels and an emergency broadcast channel. Both phones will have a maximum battery charge of 8 hours, SpectraLink Voice Priority (a technology to improve VoIP Quality of Service) and WPA / WPA2 wireless security support.

Both phones will be available from Q1 2007 with the NetLink 8020 priced at $595 and the NetLink 8030 priced at $675.
