Skype for Windows 2.6 Beta Out

It feels like yesterday when version 2.5 of Skype for Windows came out. Now 2.6 beta is available. Wow. Where does the time go? This version shows you Skypecasts on a special tab, clickable links in”mood messages”, and birthday notifications of your contacts (that sounds like fun) . Accompanying the new versions are web browser plugins for Internet Explorer and Firefox which allow you to call a phone number listed on a web page by clicking on it. [via Skype Blogs]
