Skype 3.0: Coming Soon

Skype 3.0 is on the way soon with a possible release of a new client application due out tomorrow morning some time. Yay!

There is no concrete word on what the new release will actually contain, but many users / developers (including Alec Saunders and Om Malik) have been pining for a call transfer API for Skype that would facilitate transfers from Skype – Skype and Skype – PSTN.
The problem though is that Skype will probably not release a 3.0 version for Mac for many months, I don’t know why they can’t get some synergy in their release schedule.

We’ll see what Skype have in store for us soon.
