Skype 1.4 For Mac OS X
Skype have released version 1.4 of their VoIP software for Mac OS X featuring further integration with Apple’s operating system.
Version 1.4 is compatible with Macs with either built-in microphones (iMac / iBook / PowerBook) or external microphones that are certified for use with Skype. Skype 1.4 features call-forwarding and call auto-answer as well as a new feature where iTunes stops playing automatically when answering a call. Call-forwarding lets a use setup Skype to forward a call to them if they are not at their computer.
Skype 1.4 is now available with a Japanese language pack. There is also a new Skype Mac OS X widget that can make calls, check call rates and lookup dial codes from Dashboard.
Other features include:
- Drag contacts to add them to calls and chats.
- Skype notifies user to new messages when users come online or go offline.
- Integrated emoticons for displaying your mood.
