Philips Skype VoIP Phone

Philips are teaming up with Skype to introduce a new cordless VoIP phone based on DECT technology. The new Philips Skype phone will be called the VoIP321.

Scheduled for a European release in May, with a US launch some time in July, the new VoIP phone will be a further addition to the growing number of VoIP phones jumping on the Skype bandwagon. The VoIP321 will be able to make calls over a traditional landline and VoIP calls through Skype.

The VoIP321 phone blends Philips’ home-use cordless phone technology with Skype software, allowing users to take full advantage of conferencing, video calls, multi-user chats from the handset. A built-in Skype kep will activate your Skype contacts list so you can see who is online. The VoIP321 phone also has a built-in speakerphone for added functionality.
