Panasonic announces Globalrange VoIP phones

Panasonic is now trying its hand at the VoIP Market by releasing an all new range of Globalrange cordless DECT and VoIP phone. Three new models were released in this range which aims at providing users two phones functionality in one; which is the VoIP and land line. They come with cordless functionality which covers up to 50 meter radius range.


The first model is the BB-GT1540 where its defining feature is a numberpad at the base station which allows user to make calls either from the handset or using the base station’s speakerphone. It also has a 45-minute answerphone to help users keep track of missed phone calls. The BB-GT1520 on the other hand has no numberpad on the base station but is still equipped with the answerphone. Lastly is the BB-GT1500 which is the most basic of the three with no numberpad on the base station and answerphone.

Inline with the revealing of the Globalrange phones, Panasonic also announced a new VoIP service in the form of joip from deltathree to be the official VoIP provider for its range of phones.
