Oooma Introduces Device Approach In VoIP Business
Ooma targets to change the VoIP businesss with their innovative device-centric service. The new VoIP startup is selling hardware for a one-time investment of $399 and that’s all. Once you have completed the installation, you can make as many U.S domestic calls as you want. The entire Ooma system consists of an Ooma Hub that is linked to the broadband connection and the primary telephone as well as an Ooma Scout that is used for any other additional active telephone extension that you use inside your house. The Ooma is P2P-based and the Hub conveys other calls through the P2P network.
The Complete Ooma System includes features such as the Instant second line, the Ooma Dial Tone, Broadband Answering Machine and the Ooma Lounge. The Ooma instant secondline allows access to an additional telephone line in the house, without requiring any new phone or other installation.
The Broadband answering machine merges the voicemail feature with internet and a user-friendly answering machine.
The Ooma dial tone provides a distinct tonality over an audio interface.
The Ooma Lounge enables the customers to handle their voice calls and other call settings online.
Only the beta version of the system is available currently and the full version of the system will be inaugurated in September.
