NextTone and PortaOne Teams Up For Better Billing Solution

NextTone has announced an inter-working initiative with PortaOne, Inc. which will offer carriers and service providers worldwide the means of integrated billing and SIP-H.323 switching solutions. The customized billing solution named “PotaBilling 100 for NextTone” is aimed to be used with NextTone MSX (Multi-protocol Session eXchange) to enable service providers to create a flexible and scalable VoIP network and at the same time ensure consistent service quality, protection, and security.

What PortBilling 100 for NextTone is able to offer on top of the standard PortaBilling 100 functionality, such as full prepaid and postpaid billing support, credit card billing and customized invoice, are real-time authorization for credit accounts and toll-free calls. PotaBilling for NextTone is provided with the source code and and unlimited perpetual license as well as customized training and 24/7 support and maintenance. Achieva Networks is said to be the first Tier 2 wholesale carrier in Asia to deploy NexTone with PortaBilling in a Quintum-based network.
