NEC Reveals Assesment Tools For VoIP

NEC has come up with a solution to help open up opportunities to resellers in the SMB market in the form of a media campaign to offer free assessment tools for IP telephony throughout Australia. What is more, the assessment suites are suitable for both the enterprise and SMB markets, but it is mainly targeted at helping open doors for channel dealers with the SMBs.

To use the tool, business is required to log their interest on the NEC website and subsequently download the application to at least 2 PCs to simulate the VoIP traffic on the network. The result will then be passed to an NEC reseller to enable further discussion. Feedbacks have revealed that the tool enables partners to show off how keen NEC is on the VoIP market. It is also able to help channel partners in providing a solution to cases where customers have unsuitable network for VoIP by installing new hardware or troubleshooting faults.
