Miglia Wireless VoIP Dialog Phone

The recently launched Miglia Dialog Phone is a wireless phone, allowing you to make free calls within a 20 meter range. It comes with a USB dongle that, once plugged into your computer, allows you to make VoIP calls.

Unlike many phones in this category, the Miglia Dialog Phone is compatible with many soft VoIP applications such as Skype, iChat, Google talk and others. Priced at $79, it comes with all the software you need to run on Mac OS X and Windows XP.

If you’re after something to make a quick call while on the road and don’t care about aesthetics, then check it out. However, I get the feeling that this phone is a bit of a novelty and is more suited for the casual user rather that the corporate user. People serious about VoIP should check out one of many soft VoIP compatible phones on the market instead of the Dialog Phone. Give this to your kids.
