MacMice Danger Phone VoIP USB Handset

Looking for a plain, functional handset to use with Skype, Gizmo or any other soft phone?  You might be interested in the Danger Phone from MacMice, compatible with any soft phone (Mac / Win) that can recognize a USB handset.

Now I’m a Mac user, an afficionado of all things white and slick.  But unfortunately, I think I’d rather have something that looks like a phone.  MacMice say they removed the screen, bells and whistles to create a simple UI, but I look at it and think it isn’t even a phone.  It needs a screen and some way of communicating visually what is happening.

Having said that, if you’re after a very cheap VoIP phone to throw in along with your laptop and don’t mind the lack of a screen you probably won’t find anything better, especially when it only costs $29.99.  In fact, maybe you should go get a mouse / VoIP phone.
