La Fonera: FON’s Wireless Router

FON have launched their very own wireless router called the La Fonera. It makes it easy to join the FON wireless community, which has received a fair bit of funding recently from big-hitters like Google.

La Fonera works by sending out 2 SSIDs, one for the FON network and another for your own private use. And the price? Well you can’t argu with it – $5! I guess we know where some of that $22 million is going now.
