Kensington WiFI Finder Plus

The Kensington WiFi Finder Plus is a keyring-sized device that makes it easy to seek out and alert you to nearby wireless networks. Pressing a button on the device starts a scan of the airwaves for a wireless LAN signature. The strength of any wireless networks that it finds is then displayed using a series of 5 LEDs, which indicate the strength of the signal.

WiFi Finder Plus can also track down available Bluetooth networks, indicating their presence with a blue light. It comes with a built-in torch to make operating in poor lighting easier. All-in-all the WiFi Finder Plus is a handy little device that does it’s job, but because it has no screen you are unable to find details on networks. Therefore you might end up frustrated by trying to connect to locked networks or paid access wireless LANs etc.
