Janus Blogs, Talks About The Venice Project
Janus Friis is the man behind Skype, Kazaa and The Venice Project. He has just started to blog, revealing a few details on the future of his next ‘groundbreaking’ service; The Venice Project.
He says that while it still has it’s fair share of bugs, it will combine the best of both worlds to bring the best of TV together with the best of what the web has to offer; tagging, bookmarking and recommendations etc. Janus also confirms that the project will receive a change of name.
There has been quite a bit of buzz around The Venice Project recently with some arguing that it is doomed to failure even before it gets out of beta.
