Gizmo On Nokia N80 Internet Edition

Nokia and Gizmo have teamed up to allow users of the Nokia N80 Internet Edition mobile phone to download and install Gizmo on the phone, using the software to make cheap calls using Voice over IP.  Great news for anyone using that particular handset, now you just need to find a wireless carrier who won’t ban you for it.

Firstly this is interesting because it gets Gizmo to a place where Skype has yet to venture, ie. the mobile phone.  So well done for that!  Secondly, this will appeal to Gizmo’s existing user base of business users signed up on their business plan.  A double whammy for Gizmo, and another example of creative partnering.
