GE28310 cordless Skype phone

Amongst other telephony announcements GE made at CES comes news of the GE28310 Skype phone.

Not very much about the GE283310 is known right now except that it is cordless and is built for Skype. It does not require a computer to run just like the Netgear SPH200D, so it plugs into a router and can connect a call via SkypeOut and SkypeIn over the internet.

From the image we can clearly the color screen that I would guess is used to display your Skype contact list, caller ID etc.  No details on whether it uses DECT or WiFi.
The GE28310 will be available in early 2007 for $179. For reference and comparison, we previously covered the GE28300EE2.
