Sony VN-CX1 Flip Mouse VoIP Phone

From the land of gadgets comes a new phone / mouse combination. It’s only available in Japan at the moment, but this new flip mouse VoIP phone is a really cool space-saving gadget for your desk.

When used as a mouse it performs as you would expect, moving through 360° is easy and with the buit-in scroll wheel browsing web pages is a doddle. But when a VoIP call is received a blue light on the mouse starts flashing. To take the call, all you need to do is flip the mouse open and it becomes a VoIP phone.

The problem though is that if you are taking a business call and are discussing reports or design, you can no longer use the mouse! As VoIP becomes more popular we should see more ‘gadgety’ products like this filtering out of Japan and into the US / EU markets.
