Europe Gets New Palm Treo 750v

Despite Palm’s recent reduced-profit announcement, they are hoping to do well with the new Treo 750v PDA in the European market. The device is Windows-based (Mobile 5.0) and will only be available through Vodafone for three months. After that, I presume it’ll be available through other carriers. [source: CBR Online]

The Treo 750v is a 3G phone. It’s expected that the number of 3G cellphone users [Cellular News] by 2010 will reach one billion, part of which is likely to be driven by 3G services being rolled out in China and India next year, followed by other large countries later this decade.
