Cingular 2125 Smartphone
Cingular have launched their new Cingular 2125 Smartphone, the first Smartphone in the USA that features the latest version of Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0. Cingular are marketing the 2125 Smartphone as a business phone sporting all the usual business-necessities: Bluetooth and quad-band international roaming. However, it also supports EDGE, the largest high-speed WiFi network in the USA available in 13,000 cities and along 40,000 miles of major roads.
“The Cingular 2125 Smartphone gives our customers a cost-effective, feature-packed solution that meets their needs, whether they’re a larger company engaged in global business communications or an individual wanting a superior, high-speed e-mail and Web browsing experience. It comes with the latest innovations to the Windows Mobile operating environment built in. This sets the stage for Cingular to bring to market later this year a new and eagerly anticipated addition to its industry-leading e-mail portfolio, the Microsoft Messaging and Security Feature Pack featuring direct push e-mail technology,” said Cingular Wireless’s VP of business data services, Jeff Bradley.
The Cingular 2125 Smartphone allows users to use popular programs such as MSN Messenger, MSN Hotmail, Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile and Microsoft Exchange Server. It comes priced at $199 with a 2-year contract and is available from Cingular Wireless stores and online.
