China’s 1 Billion Telephone Users & 200 Million Internet Users

Statistics within China’s five year plan for the 2006 - 2010 period reveal a projected 1 billion telephone users and 200 million internet users by 2010. By the end of 2005, there will be approximately 750 million Chinese telephone users. Of this figure, 388 million are mobile phone users and 350 million use landlines.
