China Netcom In Talks With Skype?

A spokesman for China Netcom has denied reports that they are in talks with Skype with regards their VoIP service. The rumours of talks between China Netcom and Skype come after news that China was in talks with a UK company to ban Skype altogether.

There are fears that the internet would be unable to cope if a cheap VoIP service, like the one offered by Skype, was to gain traction in large populated countries.
