Cell Wireless Corporation WiFi Cell / VoIP Phone
Cell Wireless Corporation, one of the fastest growing telecommunications companies in the world, will be launching a new mobile WiFi Cell / VoIP phone in spring 2006. Their new phone will allow customers to access cell and wireless networks in order to make and receive VoIP calls. As long as the phone can connect to a wireless network it is able to to be used as an office or home VoIP phone. Currently the new phone does not have a publically assigned model number that we are aware of.
“This exciting development allows members to call each other using a mobile Wi-Fi Cell VoIP phone — free of charge. It will also include free VoIP conference calls and free VoIP chat rooms. Our existing 153,000 members will benefit greatly from this new phone and it will dramatically increase new memberships and profit. As cities like New York, San Francisco and Philadelphia cover their cities with wireless internet access there will be a boom in mobile Wi-Fi Cell VoIP phone usage,” said Cell Wireless Corporation’s CEO John Bohringer in a statement to the media.
Cell’s announcement signifies a further entrant into an already fast-growing market. Accton, Socket, UTStarcom and Vonage have alll recently announced similar dual-mode Cell / WiFi VoIP phones that are either currently available, or coming to market soon.
