Fresh out of Japan comes the new Corega Skype phone, which apparently is designed to work perfectly with Skype. Right now it’s only available in Japan, and the product description is also in Japanese. As the Google “translation” is flaky at best, I can only surmise some of the features offered.

I suppose this was due to happen after eBay bought over Skype. Instead of having to use your credit card to pay for your SkypeIn calls, you can just use your PayPal account instead.

EBay have announced there earnings for 2005, revealing that Skype has generated $24.8 million in sales since they bought over the VoIP provider. The press release notes that approximately 87% of sales were from outside the USA.
Sales of $24.8 million over the initial 78 days would equate to sales of roughly $318,000 [...]
