Belkin Wireless CableFree USB Hub

Man have I been waiting for this gadget or what! As soon as it lands on these shores I’m ordering it! The Belkin CableFree USB hub is the standard 4-port UDB hub, but it uses Motorola Freescale’s Ultra-Wideband technology so that you can plug in all your USB accessories and access then from your computer or laptop via the included dongle. Off course it will be compatible with all your USB 1.0 and USB 2.0 accessories.

Priced at $129.99, the CableFree will surely appeal to those who want a clean and uncluttered desktop - me included. I’m already thinking that one port will be for my inkjet printer, second for my laser printer, another for my iPod and the last port will be for my Apple Cinema Display. No cables!

Unfortunately the CableFree won’t be available until some time in early spring 2006, but keep your eyes peeled anyway. Here’s what the device looks like, dongle included.
