Auvi PHIP64 Dual-mode DECT Skype Phone

Auvi have announced the release of their PHIP64 DECT Skype phone, priced at $129 and due to hit the shelves in November.  But what does it offer?

Well to be blunt, the PHIP64 offers what you would expect.  Like other DECT Skype phones, the PHIP64 allows you to make calls via Skype and your landline.  It has a LCS screen to display your Skype contact list and caller ID.  Other features include the ability to asign different ringtones (so you can tell if it’s a Skype contact calling you or not), call transfer between handsets, 3-way calls and an integrated speakerphone.

Personally I would rather go with a WiFi Skype phone, but if you are having problems with interference then a DECT phone might help.  In which case, there are plenty to choose from.
