Asus AiGuru S2 USB Skype Phone
Launched at CES 2007, Asus are following up their AiGuru S1 Skype phone with the AiGuru S2. Gizmodo have details on the new phone, which must be connected to a computer via USB.
It has all the usual Skype features including the typical contact list, SkypeOut / SkypeIn support, voicemail etc. Asides these features Asus are touting it’s support for Windows SideShow, a feature that allows information to be displayed on a small secondary screen.
The AiGuru S2 will be available at the same time as Windows Vista with a sub $100 price tag. If you are looking for a phone for light Skype call volumes then this is worth a look. If you want something mobile then take a look at one of the many cordless Skype phones with either DECT or WiFi connectivity.
