Apple May Launch WiFi iPhone

Ok, you’re probably sick and tired of all the Apple iPhone rumors flying about. Afterall, they’ve been going on for years. In fact, they started back in 1999 when Apple first registered iPhone.org.

Now Think Secret, who are typically accurate, have come out and said that Apple may introduce 2 models next year. According to Think Secret the first basic model will take a standard candybar form factor, 2.2″ display and sport a 3MP digital camera. The second model will have a keyboard and also have WiFi capability so that users can get onto a wireless network and make VoIP calls.

There has been very little chat on whether Apple will upgrade iChat to a full-featured VoIP soft phone or use a third party. What would I prefer? Probably an Apple solution.
