All-in-one Internet Communications Toshiba Notebook

It has been announced that starting June 26, 2007 Toshiba’s notebook computers comprising of the Satellite(R), Tecra(R), Portege(R) and Qosmio(R) product lines which is included with Skype will be available in the U.S. market.

The aim of the collaboration is to create an all-in-one internet communications solution for the above mentioned Toshiba notebook range users with the incorporation of built-in webcam, microphone and Skype in the product. The Skype icon will be conveniently located on the desktop to allow users to easily download the latest Skype client software from a co-branded Skype and Toshiba website. To check the availability Skype on the selected models of the Toshiba notebooks, users can search for the Skype logo adjacent to the built-in webcam.

With Toshiba always looking to offer customers with innovative notebooks to provide a balance of functionality and performance and Skype seeking meaningful ways to extend its reach in the marketplace, this marketing agreement seems like and apt decision which will in turn benefit the users.
