8×8 teams up with World Telecom Group

8×8 have been busy this week with the announcement of free LSSi listing for SMBs and their new FoIP services for residential subscribers. Following on is the details on a new deal between 8×8 and World Telecom Group (WTG) that will see WTG become a master reseller of 8×8 solutions.

The main purpose of the deal is to get 8×8 services, including their hosted VoIP solutions, more exposure to the growing Voice over IP market among the SMB sector. A recent report from In-Stat projects strong growth in VoIP and hosted VoIP for SMBs through 2010.
