3Com 3108 Wireless SIP VoIP Phone

Designed like a clamshell cell phone, the 3Com 3108 is a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) compatible wireless VoIP phone that will work with any VoIP provider using SIP. It has a clear 1.8″ LCD screen and 2.4GHz external antenna. Indoor range is between 65 - 165 feet while line-of-sight outdoor range is supposedly up to 820 feet.
However, being an SIP, the 3Com 3108 will not work with Skype as it currently uses it’s own homebrewed proprietary protocol. Not to worry though, there are lots of SIP VoIP providers out there. If you have the technical know-how, this might be the phone for you. But if you are looking for a simple plug-and-play option, maybe you should look elsewhere.
